COASTAL NC HAS 10TH COLDEST WINTER ON RECORD

While NASA claims that the period of November 2009 through the end of January 2010 was the warmest on record the National Weather Service had another view. It recorded the 10th coldest winter on record for coastal Carolina. As we all saw the Midwest, the Gulf Coast, Texas, and the Northeast also had very cold winters.
