NASA ADMITS TEMPERATURE DATA FAULTY

Two weeks ago I questioned the accuracy of satellite temperature data collected by NASA. My theory was/is that temperature should be measured five feet or so above the surface. Most surfaces heat above air temperature during the day and cool to air temperature just before dawn. Thus there would always be a bias towards higher readings if the satellite measured at the surface. I did not and do not believe their readings can be accurate within the bounds normal to meteorology. Today they admitted it. Their temperature measurements are the least accurate of all sources. This is important as many of those at the heart of Climategate referred to the NASA data to bolster their faulty theories. Click here for the full story.
