NEAR RECORD LOWS (1 DEGREE) FROM WILMINGTON, NC

This is Saturday, July 16th, 2011. I just watched the Weather Channel , an icon to some in the US. There are always mentions of near record high temps. However, last night the low was 64 degrees F. by their own numbers in Wilmington, NC.(ILM). The record low for the date measured over 130 years was 63 degrees F. Did we hear ONE word about a near record low? No, sir! All they could talk about was the heat in the mid-west. If ILM was that close to a record so were many others in the region.
