I read a report which surprised me. The United States of America produced 600 million gallons of biodiesel during 2008. That should really help clean fuel consumption in the US as well as our dependence on foreign oil. Right? The federal government mandate is that 500 million gallons had to be produced during 2008 and blended with other fuels. We produced 600 million gallons. That is great! Right on target. Right? Wrong! Over 410 million gallons were exported. Can our government ever pass any law which works? It does help our trade balance. However, the purpose of the mandate has been thwarted. Yet "Green" politicians, including our current president and the president before him, continue to take credit for change. Why can't they tell The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing But The Truth?
