RECENT COLD TEMP RECORDS

Oklahoma broke an ALL TIME RECORD LOW temperature on the morning of February 10, 2011 with minus 31 degrees F. The previous record was minus 27 degrees F in 1905 and again in 1930. Click here for the story. Also in that Reuter's news report are cited all time record lows for the cities of Springfield, MO and Corpus Christi, TX.

Thought I would throw in an amazing hot temperature record. This one is for the most consecutive days over 100 degrees F. at 160 straight days in Marble Bar, Australia. However this was set beginning in October 1923 and ending in April 1924. Click here for that report. Why throw that in you ask? 'Global warming was not in effect at that time!' you say. Just the point I wanted to make.

Ever wonder what was the COLDEST temperature ever recorded on Earth? And...when it was? Why it's no surprise that it was set in Antarctica. The temp was recorded at minus 128.6 degrees F. on July 21, 1983. Wasn't that well into the so called global warming?

How about the coldest for East Antarctica? It was set in July 2005. The temp was minus 116.5 degrees F. Right in the middle of global warming and so called melting ice caps! Found at the same site as just above. Does Al Gore or James Hansen ever mention that?

Coldest temperature on Earth set during global warming? Does that fit? Who is wrong here, Mother Nature or Al Gore? Maybe Mother Nature did not get the word that it was warming. Or maybe Al Gore is a liar. Which do you think?

Let's look at a few other countries scattered well across the globe and their ALL TIME RECORD LOW temps. Let's see how they fit Gore's allegations of global warming. (Emphasis here on the global.)
Mexico minus 25.6 degrees F. 1999
Germany minus 50.6 degrees F. 2001
Finland Minus 60.7 degrees F. 1999
Northern Ireland +0.5 degrees F. 2010
Sweden minus 63.4 degrees F. 2009
South Africa minus 1.5 degrees F. 1996
New Zealand minus 6.88 degrees F. 1995
Nepal minus 49.0 degrees F. 1999

I've already presented that the most consecutive days over 100 degrees F. was set in 1923. What was the hottest temp ever recorded on Earth? Shouldn't it be somewhere in the last decade? Sorry, Charlie. It was 136 degrees F. set in Libya, Africa in 1922. There is a footnote that this was disputed. Wonder if Al Gore and James Hansen are trying to get the date changed to 2010?

What fun these numbers are.
