GREEN JOBS DESTROY OTHER JOBS

A new study published in The Investors' Business Daily offers the opinion that every 'green' job created in the UK was at the expense of 3.7 'real' jobs. The study states that in Germany, Denmark and Spain each 'green' job was provided at the expense of 2.2 real jobs. Click here for the link to the article. Basically it says that if the resources which subsidize these green jobs were placed into a real world economy many more jobs would have resulted. Also, much of the green industries are so inefficient and so nonproductive that the investments would show much greater yields in things that people really want. Thanks to Burt Rutan for this link.
