CHANGING THE DEFINITION OF SUMMER!

For as long as we can remember "Summer" has started on June 21st and ended on September 20th. Recently the National Weather Service, of the United States of America, has re-defined it as "beginning June 1st and ending August 31st'. What does that have to do with Global Warming? Well, June has been a traditionally hot month everywhere in the Northern Hemisphere. (The first three weeks are traditionally very warm.) I believe, obviously, that the new definition is to include three more hot weeks into the definition of "Summer," thus their recent claims that Summer of 2010 was the hottest on record. Of course it is you idiots! You changed the rules of the game. You added three more traditionally hot weeks and eliminated three traditionally cooling weeks from your definition. However, you continue to compare it with the old definition of Summer. What cheats these people are. They want to curtail the economy of the United States and the economy of China and the economies of every industrial country in the world. Shame on you National Weather Service and shame on you The Weather Channel. You are a bunch of cheats! Remember, you only heard it here! From Tal Leverett, Meteorologist. GLOBAL WARMING BLAMED FOR SEA TURTLE EXTINCTIONS

A new report from France stikes out against all of these devices. The report states that by 2030 the electricity used to run these devices will exceed the current (no pun intended) electric usage of all homes in the USA and Japan combined. ETHANOL: GOOD OR BAD FOR ATMOSPHERE?

The United States EPA admits confusion on the issue. For years this country redirected farm production to produce ethanol to reduce CO2 emmissions from gasoline. Now environmentalists apparently change their minds and worry that the production of Ethanol from corn has caused too much clearing of forests which would otherwise scrub CO2 from the atmosphere. When will we ever realize that many of the issues posed as 'climate' issues are simply put forth by our enemies to try to disrupt our whole society?.... "You need more Ethanol!!" ...."Okay. We'll get 'er done!"......Now that we have it the same people are saying "We need less Ethanol.".... Talk about the tail wagging the dog. Think about how agricultural products have drastically increased in price since this began. Not just vegetable prices as more acreage is turned into corn production instead of other plants, but also the price of feed for beef, pork, and poultry.

OBAMA MEETS WITH ADVISORS TO PLAN CLIMATE CHANGE LEGISLATION

United States President Barack Obama meets today with his advisors to plan strategy to pass sweeping climate change legislation. Still heady from his victory in health care legislation Obama now is determined to pass climate change legislation. Apparently he is ignoring plentiful reports of flaws in the scientific data he relies on. Click here for the report from the New York Times.

REPORTS OF CATTLE AND THEIR GAS EXAGGERATED

A chemist from the university of California, Dr. Frank Mitloeher, said in a speech that Extreme green claims that we should not eat meat because cattle are a leading cause of greenhouse gas is false. He discussed flaws in the methodology of those making the claims. I also have interviewed a dairy farmer in Oregon who disputes those claims. In fact, he said that most, if not all, dairy farmers feed the cattle supplements (sort of like humans taking Tums) which cause the cattle to not pass gas. The reason? He stated that when cows are gassy they cannot produce as much milk. He says that it was a particular problem when the cows ate fresh green grass. Sort of like humans eating cabbage and then being socially unacceptable. Click here for the Fox News report.

UNIV OF TORONTO STUDY: GREENS MORE LIKELY TO STEAL

A new study conducted by the University of Toronto concludes that 'green' shoppers are more likely to steal. This is based on college students who profess to be 'green' versus conventional shoppers. I am, quite frankly, stunned. However, not surprised. Click here for the full report. I quote from the report: "...green consumers were more likely to steal than conventional shoppers, .....and they (also) stole more money....". The study concluded that they feel a little superior and that gives them a moral license to steal or cheat. 'Sort of like working in (donating time to) a soup kitchen makes you feel alright about cheating on your taxes.'

NURSERY RHYMES USED TO SCARE CHILDREN ON GLOBAL WARMING

The United Kingdom has outlawed two ads used by Greens to brainwash children about global warming by nursery rhyme. "Jack and Jill went up a hill to fetch a pail of water. There was none as extreme weather due to climate change had caused a drought."...and..."Rub-A-Dub-Dub. Three men in a tub- a necessary course of action due to flash floods caused by climate change."

OSAMA BIN LADEN JOINS EXTREME LEFT WING GREENS (NO JOKE!)

Osama Bin Laden, admitted Mastermind of 911, has joined the Extreme Left Wing Greens in the United States and elsewhere, apparently ignoring 'Climategate' and "Hopenhagen', and has blamed ALL OF GLOBAL WARMING on the United States. Apparently he is afraid to blame China for the same as they will simply hunt him down and kill him for wrecking their economies, despite the proven lies vomited by these Left Winger, Mentally, Intellectually, and Scientifically Challenged individuals. (BTW I think that China needs to get out of its United States Fifties mentality that pollution is 'otay buttwheat'.) PARKS AND GREEN AREAS BAD FOR THE PLANET (Sic)

United Nations' chief of climate studies is refusing to resign despite admitting he was responsible for several faulty reports relating to Global Warming having been issued. He admits the report was based on a opinion in one interview and not on scientific studies. (Click here for full report)

In a related report a new study by Global Warming activists was announced giving the opinion that city parks and 'green' areas should be done away with since they are carbon negative. (Click here for that full story)

In another related developments one of the UN's scientists issued a statement warning of a new 'mini ice age' which started this year. He predicts it will last thirty years. He attributes this to certain normal cycles in ocean currents. He also blames half of recent alleged global warming on this same cycle. (Click here for full story)

Another friend has a little Beagle named 'Maggie'. Perhaps with Maggie we need a Marinara sauce along with a 'bold' Burgandy. These people are nuts and they are out of control. GLOBAL WARMING SLOWER THAN THOUGHT

Over the last several years CO2 emissions in the US have declined by 7%. The kyoto accords only required a 5% reduction from 1990 levels. Now the Global Warmers acknowledge that emissions were much less than predicted and blame the slowdown in Global Warming on slow economic conditions. Environmentalist aboard quick to announce no environmental damage done. What did the passengers of these two cruise ships have in common? They paid around $10,000 each answering ads which promised "Expert Naturalists Guide" and "Will be informed on all aspects of the environmental issues affecting the Antarctic". These people keep stepping on their own..ahem...foot.

HOTTEST (OOOPS COLDEST?) OCTOBER EVER

Al Gore and his chief scientific advisor, Dr Hansen, who runs NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies, announced that October 2008 was the 'hottest" October on record. Eventually someone with a brain checked the records and turns out that Russia and other countries, being short of budget funds to record temperatures and long on Vodka for consolation, had simply used the September 2008 temperatures over again when reporting their data, making October appear to be 10 degrees hotter than normal. Russia is a large piece of real estate so it skewed the world's temperature readings. Quite efficient one might say to 'recycle' the same data over again for another time period. However, not very scientific. October 2008 was actually the 70th hottest October on record; that's another way of saying it was the 34th COLDEST October on record(out of the 114 years such records have been kept). Read this link for a peek into how hysteria is quickly spread by Green proponents yet retractions are not so quick to come. Come to think of it Al Gore has been eerily silent for a while. (eerily: suggestive of the supernatural; mysterious) My choice of words here seems to be perfect as well as my rather 'cute' use of the green term 'recycle' above. I feel especially clever today after proving once more that I can read, more apparently than can be said of 'Green' meteorologists.

3. Is Toyota really smart by shifting all of its production to hybrids?
4. Are hybrids quickly solving the gas crisis and adding immeasurably to the ideals promoted by the Green Movement?

Numbers here were sketchy. However, I was able to determine that Toyota’s worldwide sales for the year to date 2008 were 8,356,000. Total hybrid sales were 276,611. Even if they were all Toyota that would give Toyota production numbers with production of hybrids being 3.3% of their total production. Hardly material to their well being. Hardly a significant profit center.

MYTHS INVESTIGATED ABOVE
1. US auto makers are targeting the wrong market and being punished for ignoring Hybrids. (US automakers are #2 and #3 in worldwide hybrid production.)
2. The rest of the world is ahead of the US in Hybrid use. (There are more hybrid sales in the US than in the rest of the world combined!)
3. Toyota is really smart and has shifted its production to Hybrids. (Less than 3.3% of their total production is hybrids.)
4. Hybrids are quickly solving the gas crisis and adding immeasurably to the Green Movement.
(2.6% of all vehicles produced worldwide. Immaterial to solving our energy problems.)

(These 'facts' and statements were investigated after attending a gathering of 'Greens'. I pretty well simply kept my mouth shut as I didn't know if the statements were true or not. Turns out they were not.)
